When the CEO reached out before Thanksgiving, seeking assistance with his strategic plan, he also wanted it ready for the start of the new year. When we explained the time commitment it would require, he assured us that he would align with our efforts. True to his word, he did.
THE CLIENT'S BRIEF
BRANDKIND was asked to chart an inspirational strategic roadmap that brought an ambitious CEO’s vision to life.
The client had already invested a lot of his executive team’s time to research and prioritize opportunities to grow through service and market expansion. The team followed a framework by a leading business strategy author.
BRANDKIND was asked to study that while being given the latitude to use our own impact strategy process. We swiftly ramped up to seamlessly fuse the strategic processes.
We created an outline for the client and worked to define the message for each phase of development, drawing parallels to a standard design and construction process understood by our client. Our workplan was a blend of independent and collaborative efforts, engaging the CEO individually and the entire executive team.
STRATEGY FRAMEWORK & PROCESS
Under tight deadlines, we shortened the team's learning curve by blending strategic frameworks - ours and that of the client.
A short, modular presentation deck served the client’s needs for internal communication, stakeholder, and client communications. We also helped the team develop a summary infographic for visual engagement as well as provided the client with infographics for key concepts in the strategic plan. This communications toolkit gave the client many ways to reinforce the understanding of the strategy and help in its sharing.
To inspire staff, stakeholders, and clients, we collaborated with the client to create strategic plan communication tools.
We translated the business strategy into the company’s new business development manual to train and align the team to achieve the ambitious growth targets. Working closely with this department, BRANDKIND laid the foundation for selling across the firm’s regions and business segments.
The strategic plan introduced a thoughtful glide path to winning larger contracts.
The client is on target to meet, or exceed Year 1 targets. More importantly, the strategy has motivated the team to think differently about their personal impact on the infrastructural development of our country.
